My name is Alex Chimbo

I am a Photographer, Retoucher and Visual Creative from Connecticut focused on creating a diverse range of work including Food, Beverage, Portrait and Still Life photography. I am currently studying for a BFA in Visual Media at Rochester Institute of Technology expected to graduate in 2027 from the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences.

I grew up in Bethel, Connecticut where I was introduced to the visual arts at a young age through design as my mother was a graphic designer. In the first year of high school I picked up the camera sparking my passion for photography leading me to incorporating these design practices such as composition and color into my photography work. At RIT I honed these principles learning techniques in design, photography and photo retouching forming the creative I am today.

I am driven to deliver unique, evocative and high quality visuals able to communicate universally across a variety of communities through both photography and retouching.
